Electronic Libraries

  1. All The Three Electronic Libraries are being utilized to the maximum extent. The expense to run all 3 Electronic Libraries at Osmania Medical College, Gandhi Medical College and Kakathiya Medical College, is about $9000/- per year. Every year the number of Students, Postgraduates and Faculty members that are using the e-libraries is increasing. More contributions are needed to run the Libraries.
  2. Gandhi Medical College Alumni Education Center Project Please visit the GMC Global Alumni website at www.gmcglobal.org for more information.
  3. Kakathiya Medical College Golden Jubilee Project.

    This project has taken a good momentum now and received about $ 140,000/- in contributions. The big contributors are

    1. Dr. Hanimireddy Lakireddy $100,000/-
    2. Dr. Garipalli Laxmipathy $30,000/-
  4. Osmania Medical College Library Project.

    OMC Library Project for library renovation headed by Dr. Jagan Ailineni and Dr. Anand Kishore has been working hard to obtain contributions. So far about $57,000/- have been collected. The project goal is to collect $250,000/-.

  5. Osmania General Hospital Project

    Dr. Govind C. Rao (Batch 1963) and Jyothi C. Rao renovated MM3 and MM4 wards spending about $50,000/- under the umbrella of Neena Rao Charitable Corporation (www.neenarao.com).

    Post Operative Ward was renovated by Drs. Swatantra & Srinivas Mitta, Osmania Medical College Alumni spending $ 25,000/-

Niloufer Hospital Project

Dr. Govind C. Rao and Jyothi C. Rao spent more than $250,000/- under the umbrella of Neena Rao Charitable Corporation for construction and renovation of Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, Operation Theater Complex, Conference Hall and Library are being utilized to the fullest extent. Library is being maintained by Sweekar Foundation.
